Happy Holidays!

Wow, I can't believe Thanksgiving has already come and gone and Christmas is just around the corner.  Bryant has finals this week and we are both very excited to get them over with!  Grad school continues to be more intense than I imagined!  He spends upwards of 60-70 hours on campus every week and then studies some more when he gets home.  Needless to say with his demanding schedule I feel like a single parent most of the time.  We are looking forward to the break which we get to spend with family this year!  It will be a first for us since we haven't spend a Christmas with anyone since we've been married.

Thanksgiving was nice.  We stayed her in Spokane and had a kid that Bry goes to school with over.  That was really fun.  They are LDS too and have 2 little kids.  We all get along really well.  Plus, we will be together for the next 3 years and it's nice to have a support system.  I made the turkey again this year which I must say turned out very well.  I did get a really grossed out when I had to take the neck and stuff out and even had a weird dream that the turkey had a face and a name!  So, I had a hard time eating it, but it smelled really good!  Besides Thanksgiving Day, Bryant spend his Thanksgiving break (including Saturday) on campus.

We also just found out that Bryant will be doing his first 5 week internship this summer in Kuna!  I'm kind of sad that he has to leave Grace and I for 5 whole weeks, but it's good that he gets to be with his parents and the rest of the Boise clan.  Plus, he will get to see Pamela, Ryan, Bayden and Baby Turner #2 a bit before they head off to Dallas this summer.

Gracie is getting soooo big!  I put her 0-3 month clothes away the beginning of November.  She is so much fun now.  She has recently started laughing AT me!  I knew it was bound to happen sooner or later!  We also moved her into her own room about a month ago which was a big step for her and an even bigger step for her Mommy!  I think we actually both sleep better now though!

I haven't downloaded any pictures from the camera to the computer recently, but her is a new picture of Gracie on the beautiful (hand stitched) quilt her Grandma Howard made her.  I will download more pics and get them posted.

We hope you are all enjoying your Holiday Season so far!

Ya know, in all our married life I've NEVER had to make the Thanksgiving dinner! hehe I guess I'm a slacker. Even this year when his dad came....we went to Marie Callendar's! Someday, I may be calling you for tips!

I am sure that Ryan and Bryant will have a good time being close to each other again this summer! I am sure Gracie and I will spend our share of the summer down there as well...it just depends on when and where I go back to work. I'm sure when you do make Thanksgiving dinner it will be great! I'm always available to give tips on how I do it of course!

uksfoOkay, my darling daughter. I have read and thoroughly enjoyed every word on your blog. I loved reading about Gracie giggling in her crib while seeing herself in the mirror. I am amazed at how quickly she is learning and developing. We treasure her AND you and Bryant. Love, Mom
